As a newborn photographer, one of the best parts of the job is listening to the birth stories. Casey’s has to be one of my favorites and I just have to share it with you!

Casey was having a normal day and went to get her nails done. She knew the due date was close and was having slight contractions, but was determined to have that appointment! When she arrived home, Casey told her husband it was time to go to the hospital as the contractions seemed to be getting stronger. They began loading the care with all the hospital necessity bags and then… her water broke! Minutes later, they welcomed their third child at home, delivered by dad!

I love this story so much. Women are truly amazing! The strength God has given to women to be able to endure childbirth is just breathtaking to me, and Casey’s story is such a true testament to that!

Another thing I love as a newborn photographer is getting to see the family grow! This is my second time photographing the Hosler family, and it is always so sweet to see the little ones through different stages of life.
