Some weddings are a celebration of love. Others are a celebration of love, family, and two beautiful cultures coming together as one. Shubhi and Jeremy’s Hindu wedding at Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square was every bit of that and so much more!
From a vibrant Baraat to a heartfelt American ceremony, a sacred Hindu ceremony, and a reception filled with pure joy, every part of this day was thoughtfully crafted to honor both of their backgrounds. You could feel the love poured into every single detail!
Shubhi and Jeremy wove their traditions together throughout the entire day in the most meaningful way. Shubhi honored her Hindu heritage with the most stunning traditional bridal looks, and also embraced a classic white wedding dress for the reception. Jeremy matched the moment in a timeless suit. Watching two cultures, two ceremonies, and two families come together with so much intention was truly a privilege to witness.
The energy of a Baraat is unmatched. Music, dancing, laughter, and pure joy filled the space as Jeremy made his celebratory entrance to begin the wedding festivities! It is one of my favorite parts of any Hindu wedding because it sets the tone for everything to come!
One of the most beautiful moments of the morning was Shubhi’s Chooda ceremony. Surrounded by her aunt and close family, this traditional ritual blessed Shubhi for her marriage and made the getting ready hour feel especially sacred. These quiet, intimate cultural moments are some of the most meaningful to capture, and I always feel honored to document them.
Shubhi and Jeremy honored both of their cultures with two ceremonies and two equally moving bridal entrances. For their American and vow ceremony, Shubhi walked the aisle with both of her parents. For their Hindu ceremony, she was joined by her brother, uncle, aunt, and cousins. The ceremonies were led by Jeremy’s brother-in-law Branden, which added an even deeper layer of love and meaning to the day. Together, they told the full story of how this couple is choosing to build their life together.
This day was full of personal, thoughtful touches. Shubhi and Jeremy’s dogs even joined in for family portraits dressed in their wedding day best! There were thoughtful gifts to Shubhi’s mom, dad, and brother, plus signature drinks throughout the day from both the bar and the charming Coffee Cart by Good Good Coffee.
These are the details that make a wedding feel uniquely yours. The ones that say so much about who you are as a couple and what matters most to you!
After the ceremonies, guests enjoyed cocktail hour just outside the Heritage Ballroom while the space was transformed for the reception. The family-style dinner from Moghul Catering was an unforgettable highlight, paired with heartfelt speeches and moments shared with family, residency friends, and loved ones.
Shubhi and Jeremy chose two first dances, each one perfectly fitting. The first was a slow, romantic moment to Raabta (Kehte Hain Khuda Ne) by Pritam. The second, right before the dance floor opened, was the high energy I Was Made For Lovin’ You by Yungblud. Two first dances. Two cultures. One unforgettable celebration.
Shubhi and Jeremy, thank you for inviting me into one of the most meaningful days of your lives. The love between your families, the intention in every cultural detail, and the joy you brought to every single moment will stay with me for a long time. Wishing you a lifetime of joy, partnership, and so many beautiful celebrations to come.
