Some wedding days stay with you long after they’re over, and this one was exactly that! Morgan and John’s farm wedding at Sylmar Farms in Christiana, Pennsylvania was overflowing with love, intention, and the kind of joy that makes your cheeks hurt from smiling all day! Set on Morgan’s family horse farm, their day felt deeply personal, meaningful, and full of heart from start to finish.
Getting married on family land always adds another layer of emotion, and Sylmar Farms could not have been a more perfect backdrop. Rolling fields, open skies, and the comfort of a place filled with memories made the day feel grounded and intimate. One of the most thoughtful details? A classic yellow school bus, included as a nod to how Morgan and John first met. They spent years riding buses together for school sports, and bringing that piece of their story into the day was both nostalgic and incredibly sweet!
While Morgan and John chose not to do a first look together, the day was still full of emotional moments. Morgan shared a first look with her dad that was tender and heartfelt. John had his own first look with Morgan’s bridesmaids. followed by Morgan’s reveal with the groomsmen. These exchanges felt natural and meaningful, allowing anticipation to build for the ceremony while still creating space for connection!
When Morgan walked down the aisle with her dad, Scott, the energy was electric. You could feel how excited everyone was for them. Their ceremony was heartfelt and joyful, officiated by John’s uncle, which made it feel even more personal. Every guest was fully present… laughing, tearing up, and celebrating right along with them!
From cocktail hour through the reception, the love never slowed down. Friends and family were engaged and genuinely thrilled to be there! The reception was filled with emotional speeches, a beautiful first dance to In Your Love by Tyler Childers, and nonstop celebration. It was one of those days where everything flowed effortlessly because the focus stayed exactly where it should; on love, connection, and togetherness.
This was the kind of wedding that reminds you why you love what you do. The kind that leaves you walking away thinking, I really do have the best job in the world.
