As soon as I arrived at Historic King Mansion in Harrisburg, PA, I knew Tope and Stoy’s wedding was going to be something special! They planned a day that felt calm, classy, and completely authentic to who they are. Every choice they made was intentional; simple, elegant, and full of heart.
From the start, Tope and Stoy were a joy to work with. They were kind, easygoing, and clear about their vision. That energy flowed through every part of their wedding day. Nothing felt forced. Everything felt true to them!
Tope wore a stunning Watters gown from Anthropologie Weddings. It was modern yet timeless. Minimal in all the right ways. Stoy looked equally sharp in a classic black tux. Together, they created a look that was both refined and relaxed.
King Mansion is one of my favorite venues for a reason. It’s timeless and historic, but also adaptable. Whether you’re planning something intimate or grand, it just works. For Tope and Stoy, the venue’s elegant architecture and riverfront views fit their vision perfectly!
They held their ceremony inside in front of the mansion’s grand staircase. The ballroom, with its vintage details and high ceilings, hosted a cozy reception that still felt elevated.
To top it off, their black-and-white checkered dance floor was such a fun and bold addition!
Tope walked down the aisle with her father, David, and Stoy’s reaction said it all. Their ceremony, led by Pastor Carl Campbell, was heartfelt and centered on love and faith. It was short, meaningful, and full of joy.
What stood out most was the warmth from their families and friends. Everyone was genuinely excited to celebrate this couple! You could feel the love in every hug and every shared smile.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. Tope and Stoy greeted their guests with ease, moving through the crowd with happiness and gratitude! The reception ballroom was styled with soft florals and a sit-down dinner catered by The JDK Group.
Their first dance to “Amazed” by Paul Canning was sweet and emotional. Following that, they enjoyed speeches, family dances, and desserts from The Pennsylvania Bakery. Look at all of those gorgeous cupcakes! The evening ended with dancing, thanks to Red Tie Entertainment… the perfect ending to a truly special day!
Tope and Stoy’s wedding was the perfect blend of calm, classic, and deeply personal. It was the kind of day that quietly reminds you what weddings are really about: love, intention, and the people who matter most!
