A love story captured where it all began.
As a wedding and engagement photographer in Central Pennsylvania, I love when couples choose locations that matter to them. For Drew and Chayney, that place was Messiah College—where their story first began!
We spent the afternoon walking around campus. They shared memories, laughed about inside jokes, and pointed out all their favorite spots! Each place brought a new story. You could feel how much this campus still means to them.
We even ran into a few friends along the way. It made everything feel more familiar and relaxed. The session felt like a visit to their past and present, all at once.
These two are so easy together. Their chemistry showed up in every image! They didn’t need much direction, they really just leaned into being themselves. That’s when photos really come alive. Their comfort and laughter made the session feel light, honest, and so fun! It was one of those days where everything just flowed. They brought their energy and let the moments unfold naturally.
Photos feel more powerful when the location means something. It’s not just a backdrop—it’s part of the story. For Drew and Chayney, Messiah College added depth and feeling to their session. If you have a place that holds memories, consider using it! You’ll feel more relaxed, and the photos will reflect that.
Their wedding day is coming next year. If their engagement session is any hint, it’s going to be full of joy and emotion. I’m so excited to be the one who gets to document it!
