One of the most rewarding parts of wedding photography is the connections built along the way. From couples to their families, friends, and fellow vendors, each wedding day is filled with meaningful relationships. Emily and Matt’s wedding at Hotel Hershey was a beautiful celebration of love, not just between them but among everyone who came together to celebrate. From the moment I met them, an instant friendship formed, and it was clear they were perfectly meant to be!
Your wedding photographer will be with you through so many intimate moments on your big day, from getting ready in the morning to the final dance of the evening. That’s why it is so important to choose someone you genuinely like and feel comfortable around!
From our first conversation, Emily and Matt’s warmth and kindness made it feel like I had known them forever. Their family and friends were no different. I still remember the most genuine conversation with Emily’s dad at the reception. He was funny, kind, and such a joy to be around. That level of connection makes capturing a couple’s wedding day even more special!
Emily and Matt exchanged vows in the Formal Gardens at The Hotel Hershey, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The lush greenery and timeless elegance of the gardens created a dreamy setting for their beautiful ceremony.
Afterward, cocktail hour took place in the Fountain Lobby, followed by a stunning reception in the Garden Terrace Ballroom. The space was beautifully decorated with elegant florals by Petals With Style, and every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect the couple’s classic style!
One of the best parts of this wedding was knowing that my connection with Emily and Matt didn’t end when I delivered their final gallery. I still get to see them at church from time to time, which is truly the best feeling!
When your wedding day is over, your photos will be the lasting reminder of every moment, big and small. Finding a photographer who feels like a friend and understands your vision makes all the difference. Emily and Matt’s wedding was an absolute joy to capture, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed.
