I always love a fall family session, but I love it even more when I have a personal connection to the family! It’s funny to me how people can come into our lives, and this family is the perfect example.

I connected with Lauren on social media because she used a photographer friend of mine for a few years. I didn’t actually know her, but you know when you follow someone on social media for so long, you feel like you know them? That was Lauren and I! Then out of the blue, we discovered we lived in the same neighborhood! I walked my dog past her home many times without even knowing it. One evening, she was outside and we immediately recognized each other from social media and we started chatting!

Since that day, I have become her family photographer, photographed her sister’s wedding, watched her babies grow, and met all of her family for an extended family session! It has been so lovely.

Lauren is the biggest cheerleader of my business and life, and I can’t tell you how much that means to me! From sharing posts to tagging me in images to sending me kind messages and texts, I truly adore her and her encouragement! And I mean, her fall family session was to die for! I have decided that the dusty blue color is stunning to photograph, and went perfectly with the fall background!
