Historic Ashland Wedding | Mike + Megan

Mike and Megan’s Historic Ashland wedding was just the sweetest day! I could see and feel the love they had for each other within the first 5 minutes of meeting them at their engagement session, and I knew their wedding was going to be so special. I was right! These two could not get to their first look fast enough! Being with each other as much as possible on their wedding day was all that mattered to them.

This wedding was filled with so many personal details that made this day so unique. From Mike’s tie made by his sister to the vision Megan had for their reception, it was a beautiful day and I will always be thankful that I was a small part of it!

If you are looking for an amazing photographer and an even better human, look no further! Ashlee was our photographer for our wedding, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. What I think needs to be emphasized is her ability to really capture YOU in her work. To me, wedding photos can often look repetitive or sterile, but Ashlee is able to make them unique and personal. My husband and I are both quite shy when it comes to taking pictures, but with Ashlee behind the camera, you’d have never known that. She is so fun, kind, and really makes your time with her feel like you are hanging out with one of your oldest friends. She is incredibly professional, efficient, and organized. Ashlee went above and beyond anything we could have ever asked for.

She was incredibly understanding, kind, and professional in dealing with some difficult dynamics on our wedding day, too. Anyone who can get my husband to “not hate” taking photos and actually admit that he had a good time deserves a gold medal! So, if you are looking for an awesome photographer and someone to add to your dream team, hire Ashlee. You will not regret it. I wish I had more events that required a photographer, because I’d just be so happy to work with her again.
