Austin and Olivia’s wedding was the picture perfect May day at Liberty Mountain Resort… until it wasn’t!

I have never seen a more ravenous storm come in so quickly! Lucky for everyone involved the rain held off until right after their outdoor ceremony and then the heavens opened up. Literally everyone embraced it with grace though. All vendors and friends and family made it to cover just in the knick of time.

This, my friends, is why you always want to make sure that you have hired a true professional photographer and tried and true vendors. Vendors who are able to go with the flow and still make your day go just as planned. And everything did still go off without a hitch and after the rain decided enough was enough, we were still able to get back outside for a few more portraits.

It was a true pleasure to be a part of such a beautiful and perfectly planned wedding day for Austin and Olivia!

This is when is was crazy storming outside so we snuck up in the loft for some moody portraits of the bride and groom. Some of my favorites from the day too!

and this is when we were able to make it back outside for a few more outdoor portraits. A little soggy but so very worth it!

Then back inside to party the night away!!!
