This session was hot and bright! While all photographers have a sweet spot for a time of day that they like to shoot sometimes it’s just not possible to accommodate. This was one of those times. We had to meet a little later in the morning than would have been ideal but the Paulson’s drove almost 2 hours to do a session with me for Curren’s one year session and it was perfection. Last year I learned to embrace all types of lighting. Is it a challenge, yes,  but gosh if it didn’t make me grow as a photographer. Since this session this beautiful family has moved states away and while I loved the sessions that I was able to capture for them I will certainly miss seeing this blue-eyed boy continue to grow. Thank goodness for Instagram so I can still follow along with him growing up. I had a hard time narrowing down which photos to blog but here are a few (ok a bunch) of my favorites.
